Day Tickets
We run Clay pit fishery slightly differently compared to other day ticket waters, there are not many day ticket lakes that offer 5 acres of water to only 5 anglers (9 swims).
At Clay pit fishery we only accept day tickets that have been pre-booked through our online booking system. Anglers who do not obtain a ticket through the booking system may be charged an additional fee or may be refused access to fish. Therefore, the setting up before obtaining a ticket is NOT permitted.

Our tickets are run for 23 hours at a time, starting at midday and finishing at 11am the following day or the day you leave. For example, if a ticket is booked for the 01.07.2020 your ticket will be valid from midday on that day for 23 hours. When you proceed to the booking system please enter all the required details where the booking system will generate a ticket for the dates and times you have chosen to fish. Once you have confirmed and paid for your ticket online you will receive email confirmation with the details of your trip, a second email or notification will be sent to you the day before your trip detailing our fishery gate code. This is your ticket so please bring it with you. The bailiffs will always ask to see your ticket so please make sure it’s available while you are on the venue.. Please note you will be asked to leave the fishery if you can’t produce a valid ticket when asked.
Lake Bookings
Clay pit fishery is the perfect venue for an exclusive lake booking. When booking the lake for you and your friends you will get complete access of the whole lake with no interruptions from other angler's or public. You will be given a unique gate code that only you and your friends will have. The lake is perfect for a group of 5 anglers although smaller groups are fine. Please note that our NO GUEST rule still applies.

When group booking please book as far in advanced as possible, the shorter the notice, the less chance it is going to be available. A 50% deposit will need to be paid on booking with the final and full payment due 4 weeks before your planned session. please note this is non-refundable. The final and full payment can be made at any point. If payment is not received atleast 4 weeks before your session it may cancelled. Our exclusive lake booking price will be £125 per 24hours, minimum booking time of 48 hours.

Lake Map
Clay Pit fishery offers 9 well built custom fishing pegs, perfect for long and short sessions. Peg numbers 1 & 9 are both double swims, pegs 4-5 & 6-7 are next to each other offering great social fishing.
Please note that if anglers choose to double up and fish a particular peg, double or single, both anglers must agree to do so. You are able to fish a double on your own, un-interrupted if you wish to do so.
